0-1 loss day 4

Another good game, which we could have won. Nikko sent off early on, but also one of their players, for an minor altercation, so 10 a side most of the game.

we're getting used to this 1-2

Another valiant game, with an outcome that belies the effort! The light was fading, so not too many shots tonight.

Brin's black eye

VU loses again 0-2, but what a battle!

We had high hopes, but we lost again today 0-2, though the score does not reflect the closeness of the game. One goal against us just before the half, and then a PK against us with about 15 minutes to go, dashing hopes. The ref did a good job though, letting the game flow nicely, despite some dramatics from the other team.

Kier asks for a picture of Brin's black eye, but the kids are off at Busch gardens. We have barely seen our own son! We will try for a picture tonight or tomorrow. The foul against him, I think, that produced the black eye, was in the last second of the game, so the other player incurred no penalty for it.

Today our boys definitely played their hearts out. I think they should feel very proud of their performance.

day 1 in Tampa - we lose 0-1. Score 1 to the ref.

VU loses 0-1 today, but a valiant fight. Stefan sent off on a dubious call, and two yellow cards to our boys.
